Trivia (Ann)

A friend of mine and I like to text each other trivia questions for fun. One night, he texted me the question: "What is the last word in the Old Testament?" After incorrectly guessing "God," he said that the last word is in fact "cursed." I laughed and said that word really summed up that part of the Bible followed by, "Thank God for the sequel!"

That phrase--"Thank God for the sequel!"--has been my mantra as we enter Holy Week. I have been having some particularly low moments lately but that phrase seemed to pop up when I most needed it. God seemed to know what I needed on my heart this week! No matter the low moments that we face in life, we are no longer cursed because of His Love! We have a beautiful sequel waiting for us in our lives, no matter our failures and shortcomings--and that is truly something to rejoice.
