What was the catalyst for the Holy Moments Blog?Author Matthew Kelly coined the phrase "holy moments" to describe the moments when we are aware of the Holy Spirit within us. In his book, "The Biggest Lie in Christianity" we learned more about the profoundness of allowing God to move through us. We were compelled to share our stories and intriguing lives with each other. A group of friends met and brainstormed ways to create holy moments in our everyday lives. We began to share stories in a group email and realized these holy stories needed to be shared with everyone. We also realized that everyone we meet, whether it be next to us in our pew seat at church, in line at the grocery store or on a bus, we all have stories to tell. Some of those stories are holy. HOLY MOMENT STORIES. We wanted to create a repository for those stories so that we can all benefit for the sharing of them. When we share a story of a holy moment, one that we create or just witness, we inspire each other to keep a lookout for .... HOLY MOMENTS!

Do you have any tips or suggestions for writing a holy moment story?1. Speak from your heart and share a story of a random act of love you have created or been a part of or had the honor of witnessing. 2. Consider it a journal entry. Don't worry too much about the structure. This is not an English essay. It is more like a conversational diary entry. 3. Stories that support our mission of becoming more aware of the presence of God in our lives will be welcomed in the Holy Moments blog. Please note: Our blog library is a collection of HOLY MOMENTS STORIES ONLY. It is not meant to be an open forum for any other discussion or debate. Thank you for your support in this effort!
