STAND UP (Lisa)

There are some people who come into our lives and inspire us to stand up and be brave. Our daughter Claire was someone like that for us. She inspired us daily with her will to stand up though she never was able to do this on her own. She danced her way through life despite her twisted bones and achy joints and although she knew she could not even stretch her hands out to break her fall, she would stand, willingly. She never looked behind nor shied away from what lay before her. She bravely appreciated each moment, found joy in it and danced.

May her life inspire you each and every day to stand up for what you know to be right, though it may not be easy. May you stand even when it makes you shake with fear and ache straight down to your bones. May you find balance through your faith in God. and not lose sight of what is truly important. May you find joy and dance. It is what God put us here to do, to give and receive joy, to love and support one another.
