Plant Love (Donna)

I called Miss Virginia to see how she was doing. Her leg has been healing due to her most recent fall. The Doctor told her that she will always have to use her walker now. On a bright note though, she is still sleeping in what I know as her "Prayer Room." Outside the window, under a tree, I have started creating another small perennial garden. I can't make it all better, but she seems to take joy in looking at that and what flowers that she can see out of her door before she goes to bed at night. I told her she can also take a virtual tour of her flowerbeds in her head. I do! It has helped me through the Winter. It gives me great pleasure in making her Smile! I can hear it in her voice! I can't wait until we can resume those picnics on her patio. They mean so much to both of us! It has been a really long winter, especially with all that we have been through. Spring brings renewed hope of what can be! It lifts the Spirit! May it lift yours! Love, Donna
