Peach Cake (Ann)

On my 7 year "work-iversary," I found myself at work after a difficult few weeks. That morning, chronic health issues had flared up and I was not looking forward to going into work without my service dog, Nala, by my side (she had retired almost 6 months prior and I was still in the process of training for a successor dog). When I got to work, I found a sweet surprise on my desk--a slice of peach cake!

The previous weekend, I had wanted to go to a local bakery to get a slice of peach cake. However, the weekend quickly became too busy to find the time to go. My coworker had no idea about my plans the previous weekend so this surprise was extra sweet! The Holy Spirit was definitely at work to brighten up my day!
