Hand Over Heart! (Donna)

My friend Carol asked me over today.  She showed me all of her flowers and then we went to sit up on her deck.  She made sure that the umbrella was providing shade, gave me a glass of water and we started catching up.  Despite our masks, we had fun chatting.  I have missed her Company.  Although we keep in touch by phone, always better in person.  During our conversation, a dragonfly ( at least it looked like one) kept going under the picnic table.  I thought it was cool.  Then later I took a drink of my water, readjusted my mask, put my head up and saw something moving on my right side.  I thought it might be a bee, as there were a few flying around and Carol and her husband have a few beehives.  However, When I looked up under our umbrella there in front of me, under the umbrella hovered a Beautiful hummingbird.  My hand went to my heart, I was murmuring Oh My!!!  Over and over in Amazement!  This WONDER, just about 8-10 inches from my face! There was a basket of petunias on the table.  Probably what drew it, but what an unexpected JOY️
