Grape Leaves (Ann)

Donna had sent me a wonderful video tour of her garden and I watched it with my daughter one morning. We marveled over the beautiful plants and flowers that decorated her garden. At one point, Donna mentioned in her video how her grapevines had not yet produced fruit but that she had been giving her neighbor some of the leaves to use for making stuffed grape leaves. Her creative and compassionate use of her beautiful garden struck me--isn't that what God does with each of us? His grace allows us to find fruitfulness even in situations when we feel there is no opportunity for fruitfulness. He is always ready to work through us for His purpose in this world (love and peace) and will always find a way to lead us to that purpose. Even when we turn our backs on God, he continues to flow miracles and blessings--holy moments--to remind us of His plan for us and continues to work that plan for our good. I am forever grateful to have a creative, compassionate God and thank you, Donna, for this holy moment!
