Diversity (Sue)

My latest holy moment was Sunday. We decided to attend Mass at St. Matthews church on Loch Raven Blvd to experience a more diverse community. What a beautiful, love-filled experience! Fr Schleupner was presiding. At this service, a group of Muslim men and women attended to express their support and sympathy for shootings in places like Charleston, Sri Lanka and San Diego. One of the Muslim women spoke of the Koran's messages of peace and its condemnation of suicide attacks. After the service, I approached her, shook her hand and thanked her for coming as we exchanged heartfelt wishes for peace in our lives. I truly saw God in her eyes. Peace and Joy, Sue
