Boomerang (Michelle)

Dan and I were heading out of town on Holy Thursday for a couple days. There were some men doing road work in our neighborhood as we were driving out. Dan asked me to pull over and put my window down. He gave the flag man a protein bar and said something uplifting like "God bless you!!" (That's my sweet husband - none of this would have occurred to me, but he had clearly planned ahead.)

A few miles down the road, almost to I-95, I drove past a construction zone and must have picked up a nail. We heard the characteristic hissing noise and the thump-thump-thump of a flat tire. I pulled over and Dan got busy getting the spare tire on. As we were working, a van pulled up and a lady called me over. She asked if we were okay, then handed me a bottle of ice cold juice and asked me to give it to Dan - she said he'd need it after working on the tire. I was kinda dumbfounded. It was a Holy Moment given and a Holy Moment received all within maybe 5 miles of travel. Have an uplifting day! Michelle
