I watched this remembrance of John O’Donohue and was struck day and night by the words and imagery reminding us of the gift of a living, breathing universe that our Great God blessed us with. He created all of it and is in it all or rather IS it all. Made me feel so much less lonely. Cut and paste this blue link into your google search box and hit enter. A Living Breathing Universe
I stepped outside last night
In the dark and cold
And looked up at the beautiful night
The moon was so bright
It lit the sky a deep ink blue
The trees a black silhouette
Set against it
Swaying as one in the wind
The smell of a coming snow in the air
All was quiet
Save the wind high in the trees
and your bells dancing
I stood there for the longest time
In my nightgown
Filled with a sense of wonder and love
And the cold did not touch me.
I miss you Claire
But I know you are here
In this living breathing universe.
